Background

My wife was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in October 2009 and died in September 2011, leaving behind me and her two kids, Celeste aged 4 and Joel aged 2

I kept a blog of the entire ordeal to provide updates to friends and family all over the world.  You can view it here

The blog was really an experiment to start with, but turned out to be a valuable tool, both to keep freinds and family up to date, but also to save having to make or say the same depresssing updates over and over again to well wishers - either over the phone or in person.  You could simply update the blog and refer them to it.

I deliberately kept the blog matter-of-fact and mostly emotion free (as I will this one).  Not really into sharing inner emotions with the world
